Bioclimatic GmbH, established in 1977, is a German manufacturer of Air Purification Systems which are an ideal device to neutralise pollutants, such as: Odour, VOC, micro-organism (germs, bacteria and virus),…etc.
That means over 30 years of competence and experience in the field of high quality air conditioning and disinfection systems.
For decades, the focus of Bioclimatic's research and development work has been the targeted improvement of air conditioning in many different areas of life.
From that time on, they have been setting the trends in air conditioning technology with their sophisticated systems and innovative solutions throughout the world.

The Air we breathe
A person consumes about 1Kg of food, 2Kg of fluids and about 15Kg of air every day.
In light of these amounts we should make sure that we breathe good and healthy air. But reality often is far from this: traffic fumes, odour from garbage, germ growth in air conditioning systems, printers, copying machines and a multitude of hidden odour generators contaminate our air.
The consequences: stench and increasing germ pollution, which cause headaches, fatigue, lack of concentration, general indisposition, skin and eye irritation. Symptoms which are known as the "Sick-Building-Syndrome".

How does it function?
The units exploit a natural process: air purification by ionisation. Neutral oxygen molecules are negatively
and positively charged by the "dielectric barrier discharge (DBD)" in special ionisation tubes (bipolar ionisation).
This process generates ions with a very high energy potential which then neutralizes bacteria, germs and odours.

Cost effective air cleaning
The ionisation tubes produced by Bioclimatic are the main consumable part in all items in the AeroEco range and can also be found in both the Viroxx and Phoenix series. These ionisation tubes are the result of continuous research and development and offer a cost effective and reliable air cleaning system. There are no chemicals required and the tubes only require to be cleaned every six months. Replacement of the tubes takes place after 24,000 hours of continuous operation, thats a minimum of 2.75 years. Add to this the low power consumption rates of the equipment, (Pyramid: 6 watts, Aerotec 90: 25 watts) and you can see that Bioclimatic low maintenance, long lifespan ionisation equipment will keep ongoing running costs to a minimum.
